With this expert system, architects, information security officers, lawyers, and management can make a reasoned choice for the correct level of reliability for digital services. The expert system is based on the Handbook Reliability levels for digital service provided by Forum Standardization.

The expert system and handbook contain a classification model based on the eIDAS regulation for digital identification and trust services. The classification model contains six criteria. They are linked to reliability levels. Within the expert system, you look at the criteria that apply to a specific service. Some criteria may score low, other substantial or high. The highest score determines the desired level of trust for the digital service. If you offer multiple services, you need to go through the rule assistance for each service.
